Helping Doctors

Confidential talk between men...and interested women.

The Texas Towers were three Radar Platforms located 100 miles out to sea
off the East Coast.  This was a very dangerous assignment.  The platforms
stood on three legs and would rock back and forth and rumble when the
tide changed.  The men were out there to help prevent an air attack
against the U. S.   While out there they saved lives of sailors both
civilian and military.   Thirty-two of the men stationed there also lost
their lives.   The men also participated in other classified military and
civilian operations.  A Certificate of Bravery is being submitted to the
Colorado State Legislator for these Veterans.
